The former Kansas National Guard Armory Property is now known for administrative purposes as the Cherryvale Community Center.

The primary function of the Community Center Board will be to present programs and ideas for use of the Community Center to the Governing Body of the City of Cherryvale for implementation. The Board may be asked to provide oversight or carry out the programs and ideas implemented by the Governing Body. The Board will have no expense authority of City funds.

The Board shall be comprised of five (5) members appointed by the Governing Body. Appointments shall be two (2) year terms staggered every September. September 2019 will be the first reappointment and be for three (3) seats, September 2020 will be for two (2) seats.
